Transition Research Project
The work we have done with transition has been recognised as innovative practice by the University of Manchester and Nottingham Trent University and we currently work in partnership with these institutions in three areas:
- The PS Wells research project, which focusses on the study of emotional wellbeing in young people and how best we identify support.
- The National Transition Strategy Development Project, where our team are involved in the co-development of a National Primary- Secondary school transition policy
- A joint research study which explores how can we best support parents/ carers over primary-secondary school transitions, where we are designing and testing a set of parental experiences to see how they can support adults during the transition from primary to secondary school.
Key to this work is our relationship with our amazing feeder primary schools and the parents in the communities we serve.
