Congratulations to Bredbury Green Primary who have made huge strides in improving attendance at their school.
In the Autumn term, their overall school attendance was 95.3%, compared to the national figure of 94.6%. Persistent absence, which was 31.7% in Autumn 2023, was also improved at 13.6% for Autumn 2024.
Mrs Moorcroft would like to thank all parents for their support as research shows that regular attendance at school is linked to improved academic attainment, as well as other benefits such as positive social/emotional health and building positive relationships. She also thanked school staff who work hard to come up with innovative ways to support families.
